Dinner and a Movie 2017

The first rule of dining, according to the ramen-sensei in Tampopo, is to contemplate the food in front of you. What better way to aid your contemplation than watching a foodie film before eating in one of Palm Springs' finest restaurants?

This year we're doubling down with two great movies, each paired with a local culinary star. First up, Monday January 9th, Juzo Itami's beloved 1985 "noodle western", Tampopo, a delightful comedy of table manners, followed by dinner at Pho 533 with a specially designed Modern Japanese/Fusion menu created by Chef Andrew Verrier. Then, Wednesday, January 11th, savor superstar chefs the Roca brothers on an expedition exploring Turkish delights in their new doc, The Turkish Way, capped off by a dining experience to die for at EIGHT4NINE, courtesy of Executive Chef Chuck Courtney. Bon appétit!
