In partnership with the Palm Springs International Film Society, Films on the Great Lawn feature films from the 1960s to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Sunnylands, which welcomed guests for the first time in 1966.  This is the final film in a series of three during the spring 2016 season.  Admission is FREE.

Carpooling is strongly advised. Filmgoers may bring small picnics but are reminded that no large coolers are allowed at Sunnylands. Lawn chairs and seating not provided. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Pets are not permitted. Sunnylands is a smoke-free environment.

Film Synopsis

The trademark of The Phantom, a renowned jewel thief, is a glove left at the scene of the crime. Inspector Clouseau, an expert on The Phantom's exploits, feels sure that he knows where The Phantom will strike next and leaves Paris for Switzerland, where the famous Lugashi jewel 'The Pink Panther' is going to be. However, he does not know who The Phantom really is, or for that matter who anyone else really is...
