Collin (Daveed Diggs) must make it through his final three days of probation for a chance at a new beginning. He and his troublemaking childhood best friend, Miles (Rafael Casal), work as movers, and when Collin witnesses a police shooting, the two men's friendship is tested as they grapple with identity and their changed realities in the rapidly-gentrifying neighborhood they grew up in.

Rafael Casal can currently be seen in his debut feature film BLINDSPOTTING, which premiered to critical acclaim at the 2018 Sundance and SXSW Film Festivals. Along with Daveed Diggs, the duo co-wrote, co-produced and co-starred in the project which, after a major bidding war, was bought by Lionsgate and opened in theaters this July. This wildly entertaining story about friendship and the intersection of race and class set against the backdrop of Oakland bursts with energy, style, and humor, and is infused with the spirit of rap, hip hop, and spoken word poetry. Blindspotting is a provocative hometown love letter that glistens with humanity boldly directed by Palm Springs Shortfest alumni Carlos López Estrada in his feature film debut.
Casal is well-known to audiences for his work on HBO's "Def Poetry". His digital films and music albums have garnered millions of views and listens. His theatre-in-verse works have been presented at venues around the world and his music has been featured on MTV and Showtime series as well as at the SXSW and the Sundance Film Festivals.
Rafael is the Co-Founder and the Artistic Director of the landmark Bars Workshop at the famed New York City's Public Theater. He served as the Creative Director for the University of Wisconsin-Madison's First Wave Undergraduate Arts Program and as the Curator for the Line Breaks Theater Festival. He is currently developing his most recent theatre piece, "The Limp," into a stage musical.
