Jeff Deutchman | NEON | VP of Content & Digital Distribution
Currently VP of Content & Digital Distribution for NEON, Jeff Deutchman is an acquisitions and production executive who has previously held senior positions at Alchemy, Paramount Pictures, and IFC Films. Throughout his career, he has championed films that would become acclaimed indie hits, such as Yorgos Lanthimos's The Lobster, Richard Linklater's Boyhood, Abdellatif Kechiche's Blue is the Warmest Color, and Werner Herzog's Cave of Forgotten Dreams. He has also acquired films by young, unproven directors who have gone on to become some of the most important young directors working in film and TV -- among others: Barry Jenkins, Lena Dunham, David Robert Mitchell, Andrew Haigh, Ben Wheatley, Josh & Benny Safdie, and Mike Birbiglia. He is also the Creator and Producer of the Election Day Series, an ongoing series of feature documentaries that consist of footage shot all over the US on Presidential election days.

Ian Durkin | Vimeo | Senior Curator
Ian Durkin is the Senior Curator at Vimeo. Since 2011, Ian has watched hundreds of thousands of films and helped select the world's very best for the Vimeo Staff Picks Channel. Outside of Vimeo, Ian works as a commercial director and editor. He lives in Brooklyn, New York. 

Kate Hurwitz | Cinetic Media | Manager
Kate Hurwitz is a manager at the Los Angeles branch of Cinetic Media. Cinetic is a New York-based film and media company specializing in film finance, sales, distribution, talent management, and corporate consulting. Prior to joining Cinetic, Kate worked at HBO and FilmBuff. 

Linda Olzewski | Shorts Entertainment Networks | Acquisitions & Programming Senior Executive
Linda Campos Olszewski affectionately known as "Linda O." is one of the most knowledgeable people in the short film industry. A new member of AMPAS (Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences) for the Short Film and Feature Animation branch, she has overseen acquisitions of the Oscar Shorts Theatrical/VOD/iTunes releases as an Associate Producer for ShortTV/Shorts International since 2006 and managed the launch of shorts on iTunes for its first 5 years. She has supported several films in their Oscar run which have gone onto become shortlisted or nominated including Ennemis Intérieurs, Contrapelo, The Wolf, The Jackal, The Rifle and The Boy, and Bear Story, which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film! She has served on over 100 international film fest juries and panels throughout the world, offering distribution deals for iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, and Oscar qualification as well as TV licenses for ShortsTVTM - The Short Movie Channel.

Malina Saval | Variety | Associate Features Editor
Malina Saval is the author of "The Secret Lives of Boys: Inside the Raw Emotional World of Male Teens" and the YA novel "Jewish Summer Camp Mafia." She's features editor at Variety and was recently nominated for an LA Press Club award for her article on addiction in TV. She's appeared on NPR's "Talk of the Nation," the Tavis Smiley show and her favorite musician is Bruce Springsteen.
