director biography

After growing up in NYC and earning a B.A. from Kenyon College, Caroline moved to LA to pursue her passion for filmmaking. She has written and directed various projects including short films, web series and branded content. Her first short, THE MEET CUTE, produced by MeUndies, was featured on Time Magazine’s online platform and Digg.com. Her first web series, THREESOME, again produced by MeUndies, racked up hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube, was featured on Digg, and included many talented actors. Last year she wrote and directed a short film called KINDRED SPIRIT, a spooky romcom starring Jack Henry Robbins. It was accepted into the Brooklyn Film Festival, Bushwick Film Festival, Sun Valley Film Festival, Toronto Int’l Shorts Festival, Portland Film Festival, WIF Shorts Night, La Femme Int’l Festival, Miami Shorts Fest, Santa Fe Independent Festival, won the award for Best Romcom at the Discover Film Festival in London, and is a finalist for the Craghoppers Film Prize in England this coming October. KINDRED SPIRIT also recently won Prix D’Or: Best of Fest at the Lower East Side Film Festival in NYC. Caroline will soon be directing commercials for Sandwich Video. YOUR MONSTER (temp title), Caroline’s most recent short film, is a fantastical dark comedy that she wrote and directed. She was awarded a grant from Women in Film to develop this project. The cast includes the talented Kimiko Glenn (ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK/Netflix, SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE/Marvel), Tommy Dewey (CASUAL/Hulu), and Scott Michael Foster (CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND/Hulu). The film has many supporters including Blumhouse Productions, Deluxe, Picture Shop, Eleven Sound and more.
