director biography

Bingham Bryant is a director, producer and film programmer based in Brooklyn, New York. His feature debut, For the Plasma (2014, co-directed by Kyle Molzan) was an official selection at BAMcinémaFest, Entrevues Belfort, Maryland, IndieLisboa and Jeonju among numerous other film festivals, and was distributed in the US by Factory 25. In 2016 he produced Dear Renzo (dirs. Agostina Gálvez & Francisco Lezama), which was acquired by HBO for international distribution and an official selection at the Viennale, FICUNAM, BAFICI (where it took top prize in the Argentine short competition) and Palm Springs international film festivals. His most recent directorial effort, Foreign Powers, world-premiered at the New York Film Festival in 2019. He is currently the head of programming at streaming platform Le Cinéma Club, and has performed in films by Ricky D’Ambrose (Notes on an Appearance) and Dustin Guy Defa (Dramatic Relationships). He is currently developing his second feature.
