film synopsis
Following a schoolyard altercation, a young girl suddenly develops telepathy, to the bewilderment and chagrin of her parents. As a result of her newfound powers, the titular Marielle becomes an involuntary witness to their private lives and sordid secrets. Unable to escape their daughter’s omniscience, the couple are forced to confront their strained relationship in this alternately funny and trenchant family portrait.
