Executive produced by Adam McKay—and filmed over six years—this globetrotting documentary thriller bravely exposes the global polar bear fur trade and its devastating impact on our planet.

film synopsis

Polar bears embody nature at its most magnificent, but these resilient creatures have also come to represent the vulnerability of species in the age of melting ice caps. Unbeknownst to the public, however, is the additional threat they find themselves under from the poachers and profiteers who illegally hunt, traffic, and sell their furs. With gripping heroism, three wildlife advocates bravely seek answers to upend this unethical trade. Executive produced by Adam McKay—and filmed over six years—director Abraham Joffe’s globetrotting documentary thriller combines the ticking-clock urgency of our worldwide environmental crisis with the suspenseful stakes of an investigative exposé.
