film synopsis

Set in Caracas during the violent protests of 2017, this gripping thriller follows Adelaida (portrayed with raw intensity by Natalia Reyes), whose apartment is seized by women loyal to the regime. Forced to hide in a neighboring flat, she realizes that her only chance of survival lies in changing her identity and fleeing the country. Directed by Mariana Rondón and Marité Ugás, with the participation of acclaimed Venezuelan actor and producer Édgar Ramírez, the film is a haunting portrait of authoritarianism and social collapse. Adelaida’s journey captures the pain of losing loved ones, home, and freedom—while echoing the broader struggle of countless people across Latin America, and the world.
