While trying to secure a $1 million donation for his museum, a befuddled paleontologist (Cary Grant) is pursued by a flighty and often irritating heiress (Katherine Hepburn) and her pet leopard, Baby. A masterpiece of madcap comedy, and a joyous filmgoing experience, whether it's your first or fiftieth time seeing it.

Screening will feature an introduction by writer/director Paul Feig, here at the festival with his latest, The Housemaid.

“This is the mother of all screwball comedies, filled with crackling fast-paced dialogue, clever physical comedy and a twisted love story at its center.  Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn turn in two of the most hilarious performances of their careers.  The irony is that this movie almost killed Katherine’s career because audiences simply weren’t ready to see her play such an over-the-top character.  But her inspired lunacy has stood the test of time, and Bringing Up Baby remains one of the funniest Hollywood comedies ever made.” -Paul Feig
