film synopsis

Ana María (Jenny Navarrete) is a Colombian immigrant living in Panama City. She is undocumented, pregnant, and in need of money. Her kind manners land her a job caring for Mercedes (Paulina García, star of Gloria, PSIFF 2014), a high-society woman with early-onset dementia. Driven by their deep need for connection, both women learn to care for each other amid personal struggles. In her stellar debut feature, director Ana Endara builds a delicate, intimate, humanistic drama that explores the relationship between two lonely and disparate souls who find solace in their kindhearted and unexpected bond.
