Passes for the 2023 Film Festival are now available for purchase!

The 2023 Palm Springs International Film Festival will require all attendees (pass holders and ticket holders), volunteers, staff, guests, sponsors, media, and vendors to show valid proof of full vaccination in order to enter Festival venues and events. To keep all patrons as safe as possible, no exceptions to this policy will be allowed. HOW TO NAVIGATE WITH YOUR BENEFACTOR PASS

  • Wear your pass at all times throughout the festival, entry will not be granted without it.
  • You do not need a ticket or wait in the pass holder line at screenings, simply show your pass at the entrance of each screening and you will be directed inside.
  • You must be in your seat no later than 15 minutes before the screening begins, after this time seating is not guaranteed. No late seating.
  • A designated section in each theater is reserved for Benefactor pass holders. Seats reserved for benefactor pass holders will have yellow signs that read, ‘Reserved for Benefactor and American Express pass holders.’ If you do not wish to sit in the location of these seats, feel free to sit in any open unreserved seat. Volunteers are stationed outside and inside each theater to help you find a reserved seat.
  • If you are accompanied by anyone with a ticket or non-reserved section pass, they must wait in the designated lines for entry into screenings

 

HOW TO NAVIGATE WITH A CONCIERGE PASS

  • For any film you have reserved, you will not have to stand in line, but may not enter the auditorium until Theater Managers are ready to seat the house.
  • Check-in at the Concierge table. If no one is present, please be patient, someone will be with you soon.
  • The concierge check-in table will be designated with Teal signage.
  • Volunteers will advise you of your seat assignment, and auditorium # (if applicable), and may escort you into the theater.
  • Have your pass ready to be scanned. All passes will be scanned prior to entering the auditorium.
  • If you have to leave the auditorium for any reason after being scanned and plan to return, you MUST get a re-entry. Provide this re-entry slip to the volunteer for re-entry.

  • Only American Express pass holders will have access to the American Express Lounge. If you are accompanied by anyone that does not have an American Express pass they will not be able to access the Lounge.

 

HOW TO NAVIGATE WITH A PLATINUM, 5-DAY A OR B, GUEST, INDUSTRY, MEDIA, OR STUDENT PASS

  • Always wear your pass, you will not be admitted without it
  • ALL passes allow entry for the pass holder only
  • Enter the "Passholder" line for the film you which to see*
  • It is recommended you arrive 45 minutes prior to show time. Lines begin forming no earlier than 1 hour before showtime.
  • Queue cards will be given out until the pass allotment is reached
  • All passes will be scanned upon entering the theater
  • If you need to leave the theater at any time after you are seated, you MUST grab a re-admit slip from a volunteer.  You will not be admitted back into the screening without presenting your pass AND the re-admit slip
  • Bearing a ticket or pass to the Palm Springs International Film Festival signifies agreement to all terms and conditions.

How do I purchase passes?

Order online or via phone 760-778-8979

1. Log-in to your account by clicking 'sign-in' at the top right of the page.  If you don't have an account yet, you can create one here as well.  The username is generally your email account.

*If you forgot your password, please click 'forgot password' after entering your email and clicking 'continue with Elevent' button.  The Film Society does not have access to passwords and cannot re-set them.

2. Once signed-in, use the +/- to choose number of passes you would like to purchase and click 'add to cart'.

3. Once added to your cart, you may continue shopping or check-out. 
*Note, you have 45 minutes to complete the check-out process, after 45 minutes your cart will be emptied. 
You may always view your cart by clicking 'cart' at the top right of the page.

4. Upon choosing check-out, you will see a cart summery.  Click 'continue to checkout'

5. Order Summary - at the next window you will be prompted for an address if not already entered.  *an address is required to check-out. Click 'Continue to payment' button

6. Payment - enter payment information.  Click 'complete order' button.

7. Do not exit or press the back button on your browser until you see ORDER COMPLETE (similar to this). 

8. A confirmation email will also be sent to the email address on the account.

9. If you have purchased a pass that requires a specific name (Concierge, Platinum, 5-Day A or 5-Day B), you will be required to enter a name for each pass.  In your confirmation email, please click the blue button 'click here to provide credential information'

Festival Etiquette

  • Saving places in line or saving seats for other guests or between shows is not permitted. 
  • If you need to leave the auditorium for any reason, take your ticket stub or pass with you and be sure to pick up a RE-ADMIT pass before you leave. No one will be re-admitted without the re-admit pass and their ticket stub or festival pass. 
  • No recording equipment is permitted in the theatre auditorium. 
  • Please turn off all cell phones and mobile devices during the film presentation. 
  • For the pleasure of all guests there is no talking permitted during the film presentation and no late seating. 
  • Please complete and return your ballot immediately following each screening. 
  • To expedite theatre cleaning and seating please discard your trash and exit promptly after your screening. 
  • All theatre auditoriums are cleared between show times. 
  • Many lines are outside of the theatres. Please dress appropriately for comfort, as it can get hot during the day and cold in the evenings. Theaters may also get chilly. 
  • No outside food permitted in the festival theatres. Please visit the concession stand. 
  • No large bags will permitted inside the theaters.  Bags are subject to search by PSIFF or venue staff.

Where do I pick up my pass?

PICKING UP PASSES

Benefactor, Concierge, Platinum, 5-Day A , 5-Day B and Student Passes must be picked up at the Festival Office. Valid photo ID is required.

How & Where to get COVID-19 Vaccination verified

For the Film Festival, each person attending will be required to show proof of full vaccination and photo ID in person. 
  • For the Film Festival, each person attending will need a vaccination verification wristband for any and all events and screenings.
  • Each attendee will be required to show proof of full vaccination and photo ID in person at our vaccination checkpoints to receive a vaccination wristband
  • The vaccination wristband must be worn by all attendees throughout the festival
  • For early verification, a vaccination checkpoint will be available beginning on January 2nd  thru the 4th at the Camelot Theatres located at 2300 E Baristo Rd, Palm Springs, CA 92262, and/or the Mary Pickford is D'Place located at 36850 Pickfair St, Cathedral City, CA 92234, during operating hours from 10 am-5 pm
  • On January 5th, there will be additional vaccination checkpoints at each paricipating festival venue during operating hours
  • Passholders and ticketholders may visit any of the checkpoints throughout the festival if they need a new wristband

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

The PSIFS reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. We enforce this policy to ensure a secure, professional, and convenient environment for all of our customers.

COVID-19: If you are unable to attend the festival due to Covid-19 or can not comply with mandates at the time of the event you will have the option to roll over your pass to the following festival or request a refund.

I lost my pass, what do I do?

Visit our Credentials team with your photo ID at the Festival Office located at 1700 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way Suite 3 during the following hours:

Monday to Friday 10 am - 5 pm
Saturday and Sunday 9 am - 1 pm
