In competition for the New Voices New Visions Award and the Ibero-American Award.

film synopsis

It was oh-so-slight at first: the sound of her handclaps just a millisecond off between action and noise. But for foley artist and sound mixer C (Marta Nieto), those disconcerting fraction-of-a-second gaps quickly grow from a second or two to more than a minute, throwing off her work and jeopardizing her career. As C’s grip on the world slips and her life falls further out of sync, her hearing goes well beyond acute: she can actually occupy a physical space and hear past conversations, the mundanities and intimacies of people long vanished. While she develops new strategies to gain control of her life, C is confronted by unexpected revelations and a dark reckoning in this mysterious and unique psychological thriller from Academy Award®-nominated director Juanjo Giménez.
