Driven from their Zimbabwean homeland by civil unrest and economic collapse, four men find their way to South Africa, where they each obtain work in the hospitality industry. Working in restaurants leads them to discover the world of wine, and utilizing their mentorship, passion, skill and dogged determination, they ultimately form Zimbabwe’s first ever wine-tasting team. Soon they set their sights on earning recognition at the World Blind Wine Tasting Championships in France. Despite numerous unexpected challenges, the team happily assumes the mantle of “game changers” in a global field that has been predominantly white and European.
