The Festival will run February 25-March 8, 2021 with the Film Awards Gala on February 25. Full days of film screenings will begin February 26th including the Opening Night presentation that evening and will conclude with Best of Fest on March 8.
The health and safety of our patrons and staff, as well as a memorable and enjoyable festival experience, remain at the center of our focus. Much has changed since last festival and we must adapt our plans, timelines, and production to meet current and future health and safety guidelines that will affect festival operations. We thank our members, sponsors, audience, and community for your patience and understanding as we continue our planning.

As details become solidified, we will continue to communicate electronically and invite you to share ideas. To help us organize community insight, we will be sending a survey in September and ask for your honest participation.

The Palm Springs International Film Festival is one of the largest film festivals in North America, welcoming over 135,000 attendees each year for its lineup of new and celebrated international features and documentaries. The Festival is also known for its annual Film Awards Gala, honoring the best achievements of the filmic year by a celebrated list of talents. Produced by the Palm Springs International Film Society, the Festival offers events and film screenings featuring films from 60+ countries.
