In the Bronx in the era of 1950s McCarthyism, everybody wants to look the same. Michael, a gay twenty-something-year-old mouse, hides his true identity while he works as a tailor. When Isaac enters the shop one day, he offers the escapism and love Michael craves.

director biography

Based in Glasgow, Josephine Lohoar Self graduated from Fine Art: Painting & Printmaking from The Glasgow School of Art in 2017. Working predominately in film her practise explores the integration of dreams and reality, often playing with themes of alienation and surrealism. Josephine has exhibited at The Royal Scottish Academy, The Mall Galleries and shown at festivals such as The Edinburgh International Film Festival. Her most recent short stop motion animated film was funded by Creative Scotland and The BFI and was executively produced by Hopscotch Films.
