director biography

Tasnim Boufelfel was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. Inspired by the desert landscape and the people in her life, Tasnim’s films explore small moments that express the ephemeral, embracing the fleeting, oft-overlooked moments of the everyday. Through exploring life’s silences and subtleties, Tasnim’s current project, 99¢ Dreams, evokes the weight of departures and arrivals; magnitudes exercised in intimate moments. She aspires to always continue learning.
