Facing the harsh realities of the real world, protective older brother Justin (writer/co-director Justin Benson) must continually convince his younger sibling Aaron (co-director Aaron Moorhead)—and himself—that fleeing a mysterious “UFO death cult” 10 years ago was the right thing to do. When Aaron becomes convinced he has discovered a cryptic message on a local TV station, Justin reluctantly returns with his brother to the cult’s compound to seek closure. Although the community warmly welcomes the brothers, Justin is skeptical of their intentions—and of the fact that no one has seemed to have aged a day. Despite Aaron drinking the figurative Kool-Aid, Justin remains stalwart in discovering the mysterious forces at play.

Filmmakers Benson and Moorhead (Spring, PSIFF 2015; V/H/S Viral) continue their tradition of creating inventive and mind-twisting stories that will leave genre fans guessing until the very end.
