Emily Best | Seed&Spark | CEO
Emily Best is the founder and CEO of Seed&Spark, a subscription video streaming and crowdfunding platform that gives filmmakers the power to take control of their careers. In 2011, she produced the feature film, Like the Water. Since then she has served as executive producer on a host of film and virtual reality projects. Most recently she co-created and co-directed the web series F*ck Yes!, which Refinery 29 called, "The sex education you wish you had in high school." Emily was named a 2013 Indiewire Influencer, a 2014 New York Woman of Influence, was included on the 2015 Upstart 100 list, and graduated from the 2016 class of Techstars Boston. She has raised millions of dollars in traditional funding, equity crowdfunding, and rewards based crowdfunding, and contributed to over 300 crowdfunding campaigns to date. 


Nick Ogiony | Creative Artists Agency | Film Finance & Sales Agent
Nick Ogiony is a Film Finance Agent at leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Ogiony works in the Los Angeles office and specializes in film packaging, financing, and sales. Ogiony joined CAA in 2009 from the William Morris Agency. He began his career as an intern at HBO.  Ogiony graduated from Boston University with a degree in Film.  


Oliver Wheeler | ICM Partners | Agent
Oliver Wheeler began his career in production, during which time he associate produced the indie feature DECODING ANNIE PARKER (starring Samantha Morton, Aaron Paul and Helen Hunt), TRUST ME (starring Clark Gregg, Amanda Peet, William H. Macy, Felicity Huffman, Sam Rockwell), as well as producing a number of music videos for Interscope. Joining ICM in 2013 he worked for managing partner Chris Silbermann before joining the International and Independent film department in early 2016 .

Elizabeth Marion | Forum Manager | Palm Springs ShortFest
Liz Wilson Marion started producing short films in 2007 concentrated in North Carolina and the Southeast. She has produced well over 10 independent short films, including short films that have shown on such stages as Chicago International Children's Film Festival, Los Angeles Comedy Festival and Cucalorus Film Festival. In late 2013, Liz joined the Palm Springs International Film Festival first in programming and later as the Forum Manager. This is her 3rd year as the Forum Manager for ShortFest.  Liz continues to produce independent short films on the East Coast and works as the Creative Director for a tech start up in Wilmington, NC.
