It has also evolved into one of the most highly anticipated preludes to the Oscars® in the country. The Festival's centerpiece, the black-tie Awards Gala hosted by Cartier, welcomed a glittering crowd of 1,800 for a star-studded awards ceremony. Recipients included the casts of Hairspray and Juno, along with individual achievement award recipients Halle Berry, Sean Penn, Nikki Blonsky, Marion Cotillard and Daniel Day Lewis, all of whom joined us for the festivities.
The national and international print and electronic media converge on Palm Springs for the 12 days of the Festival, generating over 850,000,000 media impressions worldwide.
