Manny Elder isn’t sure that’s his real name. After waking up in the desert with his hands tied behind his back and a bag over his head, he has no memories – and no identification to help him determine what his story is – just a slip of paper in his pocket with the name Manny Elder on it. Thus begins a labyrinthine journey of discovery, as the girl who saves him in the desert, Isabel, helps him find his way to Los Angeles, where a trail of clues and distant memories lead him inexorably toward something more unexpected than he could ever have imagined…. Like Memento, this film explores the twilight world of memory and loss in ways that test the audience’s powers of perception as much as they challenge their protagonist’s, and create a dizzying sense of dislocation in the process.Partially shot in Joshua Tree National Park and Twentynine Palms, Pig is a riveting puzzler which is never less than engrossing, even as it holds the key to its secrets tantalizingly out of reach. Winner: Best Film, London Sci-Fi Film Festival

Director Henry Barrial, Producer Mark Stolaroff, and Co-Producer Alex Cutler are expected to attend both screenings.
