Set in Vilnius and Dublin, Maris Martinsons' multilayered mystery is reputedly inspired by both Dostoevsky and John Guare. A sad-sack drunk in Vilnius, Ben has it in for two of his exes, one of whom has an adopted son whose birth mother may be living in Dublin. Tightly scripted, Martinsons' film ties everything together in an expert manner.
