Calle Santa Fé in the suburbs of Santiago de Chile on 5th October 1974. Carmen Castillo survives her partner, Miguel Enríquez, leader of the Revolutionary Left-Wing Movement (MIR) and of the Resistance against the Pinochet dictatorship, killed in combat. Calle Santa Fe is the story of this woman, as she embarks on a raw, uncompromising journey into the present, without nostalgia or self-indulgence - a journey into the memory of those who were defeated.
