The Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films is renowned for the extraordinary community of filmmakers it attracts, and for the quality and scope of its programming - showcasing over 300 short films each year from more than 40 countries, with a library of more than 2200 films available to film buyers, industry and press in the Film Market running concurrently with the Festival.

2006 Palm Springs SHORTFEST
ShortFest will present over 350 short films from 40 countries on 3 screens from August 24 through August 30, 2006. Each program will run approximately 90-100 minutes and will feature several films within a specific theme or genre. In addition to the public screenings, over 2,400 short films will be featured in the marketplace for industry guests.
